Wilhelmine Felicia
Schuette graduated in 2000 as Dipl.
- Engineer for Architecture at the University
Dortmund, Germany. Within her studies and years
of professional practice she further developed her talent, knowledge and experience in
architecture and urban development working for
several architectural companies in
Germany
and participating in workshops in the Netherlands, USA and Italy.
She
has experience in competition successes and
realization of projects and her focus lies, with
emphasis on architectural concepts, on
individual, entirely solutions; a metamorphosis
from the first sketch to detailed plans
considering comprehensive aspects; budget,
function, construction, material, light,
climate, sensuous experience and the power of
the unique “genius loci”.
After
a sabbatical travelling through
South
America, USA
and Netherlands Antilles
she moved to Bonaire
and joined in 2006 the team of Streefkerk
architects + consultants.
Among
her designs are houses, villas, cruise terminal,
shipyard and research centre, condominiums,
offices and a crematorium/mortuary.
